Franklin, Tenn - (8/28/08) Paula Evans, CRCM, has joined Banc Compliance Group as Senior Vice President. The appointment was announced Friday by Banc Compliance Group President Connie Edwards, CRCM. Evans has sixteen years of regulatory compliance, internal audit and loan review experience and was most recently a Senior Vice President/BSA Officer at Wilson Bank & Trust in Lebanon, Tennessee. Evans holds the CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers.

In her new role at Banc Compliance Group, Evans will provide comprehensive regulatory compliance consulting to community banks. "Community bankers often spend more time and resources on compliance issues than they do managing their banks," noted Edwards. "With the addition of Paula to our staff, Banc Compliance Group now has three of Tennessee's 38 Certified Regulatory Compliance Managers on staff to provide risk-based compliance support."

Evans is a graduate of The Graduate School of Banking at LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and the Southeastern School of Banking in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition, Evans earned diplomas in General Banking, Consumer Lending, Commercial Lending and Banking and Finance from the American Institute of Banking in Nashville, Tennessee.
